Syd and Jennifer Burnett have owned and run the Coppice Hotel for 11 years and decided to sell to focus on other projects. The hotel, which is set in an attractive Victorian Mansion, has an excellent reputation for its accommodation and food both locally and nationally with many of the guests being repeat customers over many years.
The Carlauren Group are a property investment and development business with business interests throughout the South West of the UK and further afield.
Syd Burnett said: “We are extremely pleased with the sale to the Carlauren Group and wish them all the best with the hotel going forward. The advice and assistance we received from Steele Raymond in the sale process was clear, concise, commercial and delivered efficiently and effectively meaning the transaction could move forward to completion as planned”.
The transaction was led by Partners Nick Davies and Chris Twaits who specialise in company commercial law and commercial property law respectively. The Steele Raymond team provided advice on a wide variety of legal matters including company law, property and employment matters.
Chris Twaits said: “We have worked with Syd and Jennifer and their business for many years and were therefore uniquely well situated to handle the recent sale.
