A brief introduction

Paul has over 35 years’ practical experience in advising on a wide range of commercial and business transactions and contracts, many of which have involved an international element.  His approach is not unnecessarily confrontational, but always focused on achieving the best possible outcome for the clients he advises, and often within tight deadlines.

Paul has a background with a city law firm and  is a member of the firm’s management board.

  • the sale and listing of a national garden centre group
  • the contracts for the digitisation and licensing of a number of national archives
  • joint ventures in the field of solar energy and biomass technology
  • advising housing associations on refinancing and banking transactions
  • acting for a number of further education colleges on construction, finance and development contracts
  • the buy-out of minority shareholders in a substantial company involved in the design and manufacture of safety equipment
  • establishing a system of franchising for a company providing financial services throughout the country
